I am a journalist, editor, and videographer pursuing a master's degree in Journalism at Sciences Po. Most recently, I was editor-in-chief of Peacock, an entirely student-run magazine at the American University of Paris. I led a team of 20 writers, photographers, and illustrators. In 2014, before moving to Paris, I founded the blog Paris Chic, which focused on fashion, culture and art in Paris.
As an Iranian-American born in southern California, I left my beachside bubble to study the world. I first moved to Washington, D.C. for two years to study journalism at the American University. I packed my bags and moved eastward again in 2014, settling in Paris to finish my bachelor's degree at the American University of Paris. I work in both French and English.
